BREAKING NEWS: Bokoharam gang member arrested in Gauteng

A member of the so-called "Boko Haram Gang" who has been on the list of Gauteng's most wanted suspects is among 1655 suspects arrested by the police in Gauteng this past weekend.

The suspect has been on the run while his accomplices were arrested, some of them convicted and sentenced.

The suspect has been terrorising the community of Mamelodi in the past years and was wanted by the police for crimes that include extortion and aggravated robberies.

He will be appearing before Mamelodi Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 01 August 2022.

The suspects are expected to appear before various Magistrates’ Courts from Monday, 1 August 2022.
