See what my fiancé bought for me!
What could this mean?
My fiancee bought a carton of Colgate toothbrush and Listerine for me as birthday gift. Of all romantic things,!
I'm thinking of the best way to call of this relationship.

Re: See what my fiancé bought for me!
Why do you want to call off the relationship?
Questions about the future are pointless because this is the future you spoke of three hours ago in the past and nobody will read this until the future from right now. Focus on right now, figure out what you need to do the job now, and learn it.

Is this meant as an insult? You dont need to pass your reality to others.

The only reason why he must have bought you that was accurately because you haven't washed your mouth since recent times.Nakupendah wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 11:23 pmIs this meant as an insult? You dont need to pass your reality to others.

@Nakupendah I think he was only trying to be polite. You must be of immense value to him for him to have walked that mile

I really don't get what you're sayin. Someone buying Listerine as birthday gift for you is now politeness? I never held of that before. At least, not here in EA.

I wasn't surprised. An average Nigerian is grossly impolite.

This truth is quite a sad one. I guess he just has not found a way of telling to work on your oral health. Possibly, not to hurt your feelings. That's politeness at it's extreme, I think.
Well, I don't get what you mean by EA.Nakupendah wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 2:53 am I really don't get what you're sayin. Someone buying Listerine as birthday gift for you is now politeness? I never held of that before. At least, not here in EA.

BTW, I'm from Cameroon. Where in EA are you from?

Re: See what my fiancé bought for me!
You're even thinking of ending the relationship, when it should be the other way round. Sister, truth is you're suffering from halitosis. Your date must be such a gentleman to buy Listerine for you.Nakupendah wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 9:19 pm What could this mean?

Obviously, if he was the one in your shoe, you would have ended the relationship on first discovery without bothering to tell him.
An African lady with halitosis is a recipe for disaster.
If you quote me and i did not reply, please understand that it was deliberate. I must have analyzed it, and concluded that it was not worth a split nucleus of my time. No apologies.

We called it a break for now. Told him I needed to get over some few things. So there is still a relationship!

I think he was only trying to be helpful without hurting your feelings. Don't let the ship sink because of thisNakupendah wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 12:34 pm We called it a break for now. Told him I needed to get over some few things. So there is still a relationship!

So the point is, I've bad breath? I'd rather he told me point blank, or giving me the gifts on any other day, but my birthdayadmin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:38 amI think he was only trying to be helpful without hurting your feelings. That's the point. There's no need taking offence. Some won't even bother about telling you. If don't mind you should consider buying any smoker's toothbrush and Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste with Breath strips.Nakupendah wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 7:32 am

Re: See what my fiancé bought for me!
Courtship is on hold for now. It's better I work on these things before pressing play, don't you think?
With all this, I am starting to wonder what other messages he must have been trying to pass indirectly. If someone that promise to stay with me forever cannot tell me the truth when it hurts I wonder who can.
Talking about my feelings, they are hurt already. So what difference does it make now? I can only hope the ship does not sink

Re: See what my fiancé bought for me!
Do you use fluoride toothpaste?
If you do, please stop using them. They are as useless as the K in knife (forget about what the media is telling you).
Go get non fluoridated toothpaste,& start making use of them.
Secondly, get yourself a bottle of hydrogen peroxide.
After you have brushed you teeth with a non fluoridated toothpaste, dilute little quantity of the hydrogen peroxide in a small quantity of water, take it & hold in your mouth for about 5 mins or thereabout.
Do this morning & evening, and you will notice a significant improvement within a week.
You can also brush your teeth with salt once in a while, it will also help you tremendously.
Avoid other mouthwashes please, and use the hydrogen peroxide.
You can give me feedback in a week time.
